Kid’s Corner: Family Movie Night

We’ve started a new tradition at our house by having a family movie night once a week.  It’s been a challenge for me to find movies that will appeal to everyone but I think we’ve had some successful evenings (nevermind the night where everyone ended up crying at the end of Fluke).  When I asked my family for their recommendations, here’s what each of them suggested:

Jack, age 7, recommends the movies Thunderstruck and Shorts.
His sister Viola, age 5 recommends Once upon a mattress and Nanny McPhee

My husband really enjoyed the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series of movies and the newest Karate Kid.

And for me, I’ll watch just about anything as long as we’re all together.  But I think my favorites are always the ones that make me laugh, like Up and Despicable Me.
