It wasn’t until I saw a book on flexitarian diets come through the library that I even knew there was such a classification of diets. Essentially, a flexitarian is a vegetarian that sometimes eats fish, poultry or meat. A flexitarian may also be someone who generally eats meat but enjoys vegetarian dishes a few days a week. In a nutshell, flexitarians enjoy a flexible diet. All these years I’ve been a flexitarian and didn’t realize it. If you want to know more about flexitarian diets, check out these two books.
